A partner of the practice, admitted as a solicitor in 1974, Hugo has handled commercial property transactions throughout his career during which time he has completed property transactions to the value of over £600 million.
Legal Expertise
Hugo specialises in secured lending for commercial property and small business and deals with all aspects of commercial property and commercial leases.
For private clients he handles Wills and also deals sensitively with Lasting Powers of Attorney for the elderly, terminally ill or those facing an uncertain future.
Hugo also advises his clients on Inheritance Tax and inter vivos disposals into family settlements so as to minimise future tax liabilities.
A former lecturer in the College of Law, Hugo has a wide technical knowledge of the law enabling him to give detailed and expert advice to clients so as to enable them to reach informed decisions.
